A faithful revival of BIG JOHN’s 1960s denim, the SL Vintage Series captures the texture and craftsmanship of Japan’s earliest selvedge jeans. Woven on traditional TOYODA GL-3 shuttle looms using 12oz selvedge denim, this pair blends American and Australian cotton for a natural, uneven character and true vintage handfeel.

Finished in an Antique Wash, the jeans feature a classic fit with a regular rise, light taper, and zipper fly—perfect rolled or worn straight. Authentic details include No.8 thread sewing, custom BIG JOHN hardware, and a specially treated paper label designed to age gracefully.

If you live in Milwaukee WI for your convenience, online and phone purchases may be returned to the Milworks store. Refunds will be made in the form of the original payment.
