Relwen build 1st purpose garments created with one intent, even if that usually results in broad-based utility. In the case of their new Defender, the shell or liner could be worn as separate units and be highly functional on their own (windbreaker or mid-weight insulator), but the greater combination is through the merger. The resulting protective system of this '60s era military design becomes the quality of make you’ll always find use for.

  • Shell: 73% nylon, 27% cotton peached micro-faille with a water-resistant polyurethane coating, 122 gsm.
  • Detachable liner jacket: 100% polyester ripstop shell with 120-gram recycled polyester fill, quilted through to a nylon/polyester ripstop facing for ultralight insulation.
  • Wool/acrylic rib-knit collar and cuffs on the liner taper to the neck and hands.
  • Dual front closure with black oxidized metal ring snaps and a heavy-duty metal alloy zipper.
  • Concealed side-seam hand pockets, four exterior patch-and-flap cargo pockets, and a hidden zippered chest pocket at the exterior chest bag.
  • Interior coil-zip chest pocket on the liner.
  • Imported.
  • Wash shell/liner separately.
