This is a type of sock never before seen at UES, covering the upper calf. It is ideal for engineer boots with long boot shafts. The outer thread of the main body is made of Doralon cotton, which has excellent sweat absorption properties, and the areas that require cushioning are pile knitted. In addition, the thickness of the pile is partially changed to improve the fit, and reinforcing thread is used in the Achilles tendon area, which has a lot of friction with the boots, to increase strength. The design puts functionality first, with mesh knitting to reduce foot sweat and curl yarn used on the toes and heels to prevent slipping. Since it is long, it can also be used as a cold weather measure in winter.
