A warm-weather staple with classic character.

This six-panel cap is constructed from lightweight patchwork madras check, offering a relaxed, breathable feel ideal for spring and summer. Subtle details elevate the design, including the signature BEAMS PLUS “+” embroidery at the back and a regimental stripe adjustment belt that adds a refined touch of contrast.

The back belt allows for easy size adjustment, ensuring a comfortable, customizable fit.

Crafted from traditional madras check sourced from southeastern India (modern-day Chennai), the fabric is hand-dyed, woven, and sun-dried using time-honored techniques. The result is an airy Indian cotton with natural texture and depth. The cap is constructed in Japan.

Each piece features unique pattern placement due to the patchwork construction. While the fabric remains consistent, no two caps are exactly alike, and specific pattern requests cannot be accommodated.

Because of the fabric’s natural characteristics, variations such as neps (thicker threads), slight color irregularities, print misalignment, and uneven weaving may occur. Subtle differences in color, texture, and sizing are part of the garment’s character.

As with many hand-dyed fabrics, color may fade or transfer, particularly when wet or exposed to friction. Please take care when wearing with light-colored garments or accessories.

This item is available and usually ships within 2 business days of date of purchase. Not all orders are available to ship on weekends. If you are purchasing multiple items -- lead times may vary for each. All orders over $999 will ship with signature required.

  • Orders over $150 Ground shipping 4-6 business days - Free - available for all orders in the United States.

  • DHL & UPS - Rates are calculated at checkout based on your home country. 
  • Duties and taxes (including VAT) for your order will be calculated and charged at checkout based on what your home country requires.

U.S. Return and Exchange Policy

Milworks gladly accepts returns of unworn, unwashed, undamaged or defective merchandise purchased online, by phone or in stores for delivery that shipped to a U.S. address for a full refund or exchange within 30 days of original purchase. If you live in Milwaukee WI for your convenience, online and phone purchases may be returned to the Milworks store. Refunds will be made in the form of the original payment. All apothecary, masks, altered apparel or final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.
