Katin
Katin began in the 1950s as a small boat cover business in Surfside, California, founded by Nancy and Walter Katin. When a local surfer asked them to sew a pair of durable trunks for the waves, they crafted what would become some of the first purpose-built surf trunks. Word spread fast, and Katin became a pioneer of surf apparel, outfitting generations of surfers with their iconic canvas trunks.
