The Mestari Control is a nod to one of the most famous shoes in KARHU’s history, which came to be known for its patented Air Cushion technology. This modern take on classic features the very same Air Cushion unit embedded in a robust midsole built for comfort and stability. Additionally, the Mestari Control utilizes a slip-resistant outsole equipped with a unique traction pattern that was also inspired by shoes from KARHU’s back catalog.

Universal Works have shaken up the narrative by bringing an upside down, inverted illumination of what it means to combine activewear with traditional shapes and silhouettes. The iconic Karhu M-logo has been used throughout, but flipped to give a nod to the ‘W’ in Universal Works. Its origins stem from the word ‘Mestari’ - the Finnish word for ‘champion’. Feeling like a winner in the clothes and shoes we’re wearing is never a bad thing.

Milworks gladly accepts returns of unworn, unwashed, undamaged or defective merchandise purchased online, by phone or in stores for delivery that shipped to a U.S. address for a full refund or exchange within 30 days of original purchase. If you live in Milwaukee WI for your convenience, online and phone purchases may be returned to the Milworks store. Refunds will be made in the form of the original payment. All apothecary, masks, altered apparel or final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.
