When I+W started looking for a new rigid denim fabric after the closure of Cone Mills in Greensboro, NC, they didn't want to just replace our tried and true Cone Mills denim—they wanted to take heed of everything we've learned over the past decade.

They looked seriously at what they humbly believe is the best damn pair of jeans you can find, and found a new fabric that makes them even better.

THE FABRIC

The character and construction of this fabric is unrivaled. an open weave that feels like a heavier-weight denim, but does so without the extra bulk. it is a sturdy, substantial, year-round denim.

the shade is deep indigo, giving it a more modern and subtle blue that deepens as it wears. the result yields perfect fades with rich contrast... earned through time and circumstance.

THE FIT

In response to requests for a rigid jean with a lower rise and slimmer leg than barton slim, they developed Charlie from scratch. it sits low on hips, and is slim through the thigh and knee with 14" leg opening. the result is a versatile, polished modern fit.

Milworks gladly accepts returns of unworn, unwashed, undamaged or defective merchandise purchased online, by phone or in stores for delivery that shipped to a U.S. address for a full refund or exchange within 30 days of original purchase. If you live in Milwaukee WI for your convenience, online and phone purchases may be returned to the Milworks store. Refunds will be made in the form of the original payment. All apothecary, masks, altered apparel or final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.
